Quick update

And by quick update I mean real quick. The wedding was last weekend and it was so much fun. Anjelee looked STELLAR!! We've all rested up from two hard weekends of partying for the weekend and I think we all needed it. I'll post pictures of the wedding this week. Going to Red Rocks to see the last movie of the summer on the Rocks. This week is Wedding Crashers and there is actually going to be a wedding before the movies, and the dress came from d'Anelli's one of the local radio stations was doing a contest and the bride who won was allowed to come and pick out a dress from our store. So we are all going as well. I want to go see No Reservations this week also, so I'll be rounding up the troops to see who wants to go. Like I said this was going to be short and I'm done. Week in review

What a week, I was on the go all week long and was so glad that today was just a relaxing day after I cleaned up around the apartment just a bit. Just have to love a lazy Sunday were you can relax after cleaning and hang out in PJ's. Had my dress fitting for Anjelee's wedding and my dress is just going to be perfect!!! I also had dinner with Lindsey this week and we caught up and chatted forever. We went to a little place called the Coral Room in the Highlands area which serves Thai food. Now I have never ever in my life had Thai food until this past week and I loved it! We started with drinks and I had a Champagne Mojito and Lindsey had Dirty Martini's, we had Mussels for an appetizer and they were so good. Chicken Coconut Curry was my entree and I do like curry and was really afraid that it was going to be heavy on the curry but it wasn't at all. More coconut milk than curry and I was so pleased. We had fresh berries and cream for dessert, and polished off my Mojito. We got there about 6ish and didn't leave till 9:30, we had some serious catching up to do. Not a lot going on this week, thank goodness! I'm going to work more on this blogging bit so I'm not just blogging one day a week. So until then, have a great week!

Busy weekend

To go along with my way busy week, I had a very busy weekend. Work on Saturday, Craft day for Anj's wedding on Sunday and then her bridal shower Sunday evening. Will her wedding ever get here?? Yup, its just around the corner, August 11th!! Yippy, its going to be a fun filled weekend and plenty of memories. So we made built almost 400 favor boxes and got them stuffed and started working on tying ribbons on them and then we had a break before we headed off to her shower. Here's a pic of the candy that we went on an emergency run for to put in the boxes because we didn't have enough!!

Long week

So its been a long week and I haven't blogged. Went to dinner tonight with my parents and we tried a new place called the Thirsty Bear, kinda like the Back Forty back home, just a little dive type place. Work was extremely busy and lots going on. Have a bridal shower to go to tomorrow, but before the shower, we are having craft day to get some favors done for the wedding. So I'm all about finding new products for beauty and so forth. I've found a new shaving cream that is great its by Aveeno and I found it because of Heather. It will leave your legs feeling oh sooooo smooth, the smoothest they have ever been!! Also, Clinique High Impact Mascara, its the best!! This week is going to be super busy as well. I believe being busy is good, but I'm ready for a slow down!!! Speaking of a slow down, I think I am going to go watch a movie.
